Wanderlust Yoga and Music Festival

What a whirlwind weekend of intensive yoga, photography and music we had at the Wanderlust Yoga and Music festival at Squaw Valley in Lake Tahoe. We had such a wonderful time at the Festival and went through 4 days of intense all day photography. When we were invited to photograph the music and yoga at Wanderlust, we squealed and said yes immediately! Little did we know that this experience would sharpen our eyes and photography skills and we left home with new spiritual teachings touched by some of the most wonderful people. No words can do it justice and we choose to tell our experience over the 4 days with our yoga photos. We are still speechless and breathless from Wanderlust and have refreshed spirits for our photojournalist photography skills and a refresh documentary perspective. Join us for a Photo SEO Mini Workshop!

Our dear friend Zach Prez is teaching a mini SEO workshop and guess who is playing host?! Taking place on August 18 at our Emeryville location, Zach is going to take you through the steps of achieving better SEO and meeting your SEO goals. Since consulting personally with Zach, he’s helped us tremendously with our SEO. SO we have convinced him to teach his first ever SEO workshop. Here’s a brief excerpt taken from his website:

Hi, my name is Zach Prez and I’ve spent the last year coaching photographers and related businesses (like wedding vendors) in a 1:1 or 1:few environment. Zach Prez - The presentation is done and killer! I look forward to helping people rock their search engine rankings. I just checked out the stats of a photographer I recently helped and she is getting 80 visits per year from search on a single key phrase (not to mention all the other phrases). She only needs to convert one of those to pay for all her investment in SEO (but I think she will convert more like 15 into new clients, that will then refer her even more business).

Will you be at the Wanderlust Festival in Squaw Valley with us? Starting on Thursday in Squaw Valley and running until Sunday, the Wanderlust Festival combines a great line up of music and yoga to fill the days and nights. Guess which photographers lucked out? We are excited to be officially photographing the Wanderlust Festival with an all access pass which means we will be sure to capture some great artists, moments and photographs to share with you on the blog!

We are most looking forward to the Midnight Mass Twister on Saturday night. Wish a great line up of music and yoga, there is sure to be a great activity for everyone involved. And what could be a more perfect backdrop than Squaw Valley right in the heart of Tahoe? Be sure to check the music line up but Moby, Bassnectar, Brazilian Girls and Yard Dogs Road Show are among the great list of artists set to be there. Can’t wait to be photographing them!

Just the same, the yoga line up is out of this world and includes Shiva Rea, Baron Baptiste and Seane Corn. We are looking forward to seeing the best Yoga teachers and photographing the yoga classes. I’m also looking forward to meeting some great people at the Wellness Village. This is what the Wanderlust website says:

Wanderlust even has a special kids camp experience so that you can include your little ones in the act!
