Tonight we leave for Long Beach to photograph the prestigious annual American Kennel Club/AKC Agility Invitationals. The AKC Agility Invitationals is held at the end of each year and the AKC invites the top 5 agility dogs of every breed to compete and face off. Competitors compete all year long with their dogs to accumulate points so that they can rank as one of the top 5 in their breed. And this weekend, they will be flying in from all over the U.S. (and some from Canada and England) to claim the top spot position. Check this link out for some photos from last year’s event!

Incidentally, my Portuguese Water Dog, Milou, and I have been invited once again! So we are not just photographing but also competing! That’s why you should wish us good luck! This will be our third year invited so I guess that is where you’ll see us this weekend. And we will be down in Long Beach area working until December 20.
