Emily + Greg: Sonoma Wedding Photos

We captured Emily and Greg’s wedding ceremony in photos as their Sonoma wedding photographer last September at the stunning Viansa Winery in Sonoma, California.

One of the most important things to Emily and Greg was that the wedding day emotions and details and family be captured in photographs, and we were happy to help that happen as their Sonoma wedding photographer. Their ceremony was absolutely beautiful and heartfelt and we couldn’t think of another place we would have rather been.

The large wood doors behind where Emily and Greg announced and exchanged their vows was adorned with lush flower garlands created by their florist, Amy Burke Designs. As their Sonoma wedding photographer, it was perfect – framing the couple during the ceremony and their loved ones during our family portrait sessions.

The ceremony commenced and the guests got ready to move towards the Viansa Winery tented pavilion, where Emily and Greg’s fuchsia, pink, and purple wedding reception was held. The lighting carried the color theme up towards the ceiling, and the accents of gold and ivory was found throughout the chairs, table settings, and floral arrangements.

Following a popular wedding trend, Emily and Greg opted for a table full of individual cupcakes of varying flavors over one larger wedding cake. These guys were made with love by Kara’s Kupcakes, and look absolutely scrumptious and so cute nestled in the bed of soft white and purple flower petals, a fun way to display their desserts!

Even the smallest details were taken care of with perfect pink straws, and a vintage suitcase to hold their guest’s gift cards.

When Tinywater is your Sonoma wedding photographer, we are sure not to miss a moment! We loved capturing Emily and Greg in spontaneous moments throughout the day and wedding reception, and especially in key wedding staples like the first and father daughter dances.

Not only did we capture all of the fun at Emily and Greg’s wedding reception, but as their Sonoma wedding photographer, we had to take them out into the Viansa Winery grounds to get a few wedding day portraits of the beautiful couple.

Emily + Greg: Viansa Winery Wedding!

We absolutely adore Viansa Winery, so when Emily and Greg first contacted us about being their wedding photographer, we were thrilled! Viansa Winery is located 40 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge at the start of the Sonoma Valley. With options of the candlelit wine cellar to the vine covered walls of the outdoor terrace, this is one venue that is sure to please any bride to be.

All of the paper goods of Emily and Greg’s wedding were so beautiful, and we were especially loving the handwritten calligraphy addresses and escort cards giving each a personal touch.

Tinywater had so much fun hanging out with Emily and Greg at Viansa Winery as they got ready for their big wedding day, including a first glance! These moments before the wedding are always very contemplative and cherished time with their family and bridal party.

Greg’s groomsman helped him get his bow tie perfect for his wonderful Viansa Winery wedding. The groomsmen looked so chic in their crisp white shirts contrasting their classic black suspenders and black bow ties.

This is one of our favorite photographs of Emily from her Viansa Winery wedding day! We love the candlelit wine cellar, and while some brides opt to have their ceremony in this cozy space, we would later make our way outdoors to Emily and Greg’s terrace ceremony.

A few fun moments inside the wine cellar’s barrel room with Emily and her pretty in pink bridesmaids and closest friends. One of the best parts about weddings is how it brings friends that have moved far away back together in one big celebration!

This vine covered covered patio is just one of our many favorite spots at the Viansa Winery. It was perfect for Emily and Greg’s first glance, and we took a little more time out of the sun for a few more portraits with the bride and groom.

And the ceremony begins! It was a perfect day with gorgeous wine country weather at Viansa Winery for Emily and Greg’s outdoor nuptials. We can’t wait to show you a few more peeks into their Sonoma wedding reception and a few of their fun portraits with the bridal party.
