We got the special opportunity to hang out with two amazing photographers yesterday, Alisha and Brook. We were blown away by their openness and friendliness, they opened their studio, business and lives to us without hesitation. We first contacted Brook about an A + B school day. Instead Brook surprised us by saying they liked our work and inviting us to spend the day with them privately. How can we say no?

Alisha and Brook are so super talented and their body of work is amazing. We oohed and aaaahed over slideshows and album pages. Their work is incredible. We spent the day taking about the business of wedding photography and how they grew in the industry. Got to know each other better over the yummy sushi lunch. They also gave us lots of advice and tips on everything wedding photography and life related as we put our thinking caps on. We had such a great time just kicking back and chatting with the two of them and learned so much. Alisha is so nice and Brook has the same humor we do! But the most important thing was that we just got the chance to get to know them and pick their brains. They were so open with everything!

We continued to be amazed when they both said that they liked our work, that our stuff is strong and that we were unique. Thank you you two for having the faith in our talent, work and skills. We asked Alisha and Brook to come up with a couple descriptive words on our style. So Far, Alisha came up with Rock n Roll (she said our album is very music video-ish) and Brook came up with something roll that sounded like sushi. I guess Brook was still hungry after lunch?

Anyhow we wanted to send our deep and heartfelt gratitude and thanks to two awesome people. We can’t stop raving and gushing about Alisha and Brook. We are so grateful for this personal chance to meet two of our idols! Can’t wait to meet you guys again!
