Storybook Love: Napa Wedding Photographer

We’ve been dying to share this ultra romantic vintage wedding inspiration shoot that was put together by Very Merry Events with Tinywater as the Napa wedding photographer and since it’s been featured on Style Me Pretty, we wanted to show a little more from this gorgeous shoot! This ‘Storybook Love’ shoot was also featured in the Winter 2012 issue of Today’s Bride San Francisco. We are so lucky to have had the opportunity to be the Napa wedding photographer on this shoot with some of the most talented wedding vendors in the Napa Valley area!

Taking place at the ultra luxe Spence Vineyards in the heart of Napa Valley, we found ourselves strolling around the property on the most perfect wine country day. We love that warm glow everything gets from the wine country sun – just one of the many reasons we adore being a Napa wedding photographer.

These paper goods were put together especially for this Storybook Love inspiration shoot by the amazing paper designer, Jen Simpson. The best part? This gorgeous ‘Storybook’ themed invitation suite is now available to the public in her Etsy shop here! Based in Laguna Beach, California, her work fit in perfectly with our wine country storybook inspired shoot.

Every little details was curated with perfection by Mary of Very Merry Events. We love the time piece and seersucker bow tie and especially the boutonniere created by Atelier Joya. Being teamed up with these two wedding vendors makes us so thankful to be a Napa wedding photographer! We constantly get to work with the most talented people in our field because of this blessing!

The perfect wedding set-up wouldn’t be complete with the cutest flower girl around! We were loving the flower girl bouquet with accents of gilded gold foliage mixed in for some sparkle.

Vintage rentals from Heritage & Craft provided extra special touches to this Storybook wedding inspiration shoot. The little booster chair made of vintage books for the flower girl was such a cute picture worthy moment.

Tinywater Sacramento Chic Soiree!

Last night we had the pleasure of hosting an exclusive party in our Tinywater Sacramento wedding photographer studio for some dear Sacramento wedding coordinators. With the help of some of our friends and vendors including La Martiné Floral Design, Elaine Bell Catering, Classic Party Rentals, La Tavola Linen, Sugar and Spice Specialty Desserts, and PACHA Farmer Owned Coffee! We can’t express how lucky we feel to be a Sacramento wedding photographer with the opportunity to work with so many amazing people every day.

With the start of May, we couldn’t help but welcome spring with a bright color palette of pinks, peach, yellow, and orange. The colors were wonderfully matched by Kimberly of La Martine. Peonies were the highlight of these flower arrangements accented by artichokes, sprigs of fragrant rosemary and perfectly pink sweet pea. The brown wooden box bases went well with our rustic farm table and natural burlap runner. We see hundreds of flowers yearly being a Sacramento wedding photographer and we can truly say these are among our favorites!

Donna surprised Caroline with bright balloons yesterday morning, perfect timing for our Tinywater party! These welcomed our guest wedding coordinators as they entered our Sacramento wedding photographer studio here in midtown.

Each place setting was marked with a mini flag perched on a mouthwatering french macaron made by Carissa of the delectable Sugar and Spice Specialty Desserts. Her sugary confections made another appearance at the end of our meal!

Trinkets and treasures sprinkled the table to show the wedding coordinators a little peek at our Sacramento wedding photographer style. We loved the bell jars paired with antique metal letters and white washed bird figurines.

Bunches and bunches of ribbons made us think of the spring celebrations using may poles, and we were ready for the festivities of the night to begin!

We moved to the back to take a peek at the Elaine Bell Catering team at work! Those mini purple cauliflower florets atop of the first appetizer were the cutest little touch to a delicious bite.

After the mouthwatering entrees from Elaine Bell were enjoyed, Carissa of Sugar and Spice took over the kitchen with a few bites of her delicious confections. Paired with our new favorite PACHA Farmer Owned Coffee, it was an amazing close to a perfect meal.

Everyone was such a great sport when it came to portrait time. We love being a San Francisco wedding photographer when it lets us play at these secret locations for a day with such a beautiful couple! This ‘secret location’ to us is actually a very familiar one to Jette and Nic – it’s his family home in Inverness, California, located on the south shore of the gorgeous Tomales Bay!

Jette and Nic actually grew up together but drifted apart after high school. After reuniting a few years later, they quickly fell for each other and we are so happy we were there to capture them say their ‘I Dos’ as their San Francisco wedding photographer.

Jette is hauntingly beautiful! With the sun filtering through her veil and illuminating her face, this is one of our absolute favorite images from this backyard soiree.

We were completely obsessed with Jette’s floor length veil! A great addition to a dress that has a shorter train. We loved the combination and they way Jette wasn’t afraid to play around with it for these gorgeous wedding day photos.

The sun had chased the fog away for the day and really made us feel like we were in the middle of Sonoma’s wine country where the sun is stronger than in the bay. It was absolutely perfect for our portrait session with the couple as their San Francisco wedding photographer.

Kathryn of Dream A Little Dream went all out with the help of Hartmann Studio Rentals. She completed Nic’s family’s incredible family home in Inverness, California to make this the classiest backyard wedding of the year. Tents protected the guest tables and a stage made for dancing and fun was set up for Jette and Nic’s backyard wedding of their dreams.

Classic white and cream linens provided a clean backdrop for the classic silver flatware and crystal glasses. Accented by the lush textures of the floral arrangements by Soulflower, these tables really allowed the natural beauty of Nic’s home to shine at this San Franciscan backyard wedding.

The tables and decor were completed with custom calligraphy used for each escort card and table number marker. The antique silver vases were a great touch to the overall white color scheme used throughout Jette and Nic’s backyard wedding reception.

The food was just as pretty to look at as the newlywed couple and decor! Put together by the culinary experts that is Componere, the plates added a nice splash of color with each food course.

Twinkle lights began to shine on as the sun set, illuminating this backyard wedding and getting everyone in the mood to hit the dance floor!
