Urban San Francisco Engagement Photos

This beautiful urban engagement session photos were a blast to capture and the couple were so fun to hang out with. They had two parts to their San Francisco engagement session. In the beginning of our time together we showed them around all the great urban couture spots around the city. Karen and Mike had the time of their life running around town with us, capturing special moments of their life and celebrating new beginnings. This urban engagement shoot was set up perfectly in San Francisco; with the backdrop to match, we couldn’t go wrong, and we didn’t. Did we?

This couple was so fun and crazy, even though it took Mike a little longer than Karen to get situated and comfortable with the session and taking some photos that turned out absolutely beautiful. Was it a challenge to get this shy guy to jump out of his shell? Yes, but he did! Finally when he was ready we had a blast in front of this huge painting that was hidden behind an old warehouse. The colors went perfectly with Karen’s gorgeous dress, and her bright and happy personality. This couples love and compassion for one another shines so brightly throughout this entire photo shoot and it was hard to even come to an end, thats why, as you will see tomorrow we just had to do this engagement shoot in two different posts. There were just too many awesome urban pictures to choose from, but we did. Tell us what you think. : )

Were so excited to finish up this urban engagement tomorrow and get the second post up, I bet you are as anxious as me to see the next post. Well we are anxious to post it and then comes the wedding! Yay! We can’t wait till their wedding and the beautiful photos that are going to come out of their wonderful day.

Wanderlust Yoga and Music Festival

What a whirlwind weekend of intensive yoga, photography and music we had at the Wanderlust Yoga and Music festival at Squaw Valley in Lake Tahoe. We had such a wonderful time at the Festival and went through 4 days of intense all day photography. When we were invited to photograph the music and yoga at Wanderlust, we squealed and said yes immediately! Little did we know that this experience would sharpen our eyes and photography skills and we left home with new spiritual teachings touched by some of the most wonderful people. No words can do it justice and we choose to tell our experience over the 4 days with our yoga photos. We are still speechless and breathless from Wanderlust and have refreshed spirits for our photojournalist photography skills and a refresh documentary perspective. Provencal Picnic Photos With Bash, Please – Design*Sponge – Featured

Well well well, what do we have here, a beautiful provencal picnic for a wedding anniversary? Paige and Kelly, the ladies behind Bash, Please invited us for a collaborative shoot and of course we said yes immediately! They had an amazing vision and styled and put together a beautiful first wedding anniversary provencal picnic. To top off all the fun we had with Paige and Kelly, Design*Sponge featured this great picnic wedding anniversary shoot today. Thank you Design*Sponge for featuring this fun picnic wedding anniversary! Didn’t Paige and Kelly do a beautiful job with it all? We thought so. It’s so cute, inspired by France of course! We couldn’t help but feel like we had just flown to Europe and back for the day. Lucky us, when the shoot was done, we got to sit down and enjoy the picnic and delicious food! Everything about this picnic wedding anniversary was so delicious. I am sure that you will be having your own provencal picnic soon for sure. Be sure to read Paige’s great post on Design*Sponge with lots of detailed instructions and a great recipe for lavender jelly. So many great details and yummy food to fill the tummy!

The oh so yummy lavender french macarons! The perfect dessert after all the mouth watering cheese. The french macarons had us licking our fingertips and they even smelled so divine. What a perfect wedding anniversary picnic!

Aren’t we all envious of the lucky couple that gets to enjoy this picnic? Perfect for a warm summer day! Who doesn’t want to lay back and enjoy the picnic and sun along with all these mouth watering temptations paired with the right wine!?

Paige and Kelly’s attention to every single little detail included the perfect wedding anniversary gift, a new ring in its own wood box decorated simply with a stalk of lavender.

Our dear friend Zach Prez is teaching a mini SEO workshop and guess who is playing host?! Vincent – Sacramento Newborn Photographer

How blessed are we to be a Sacramento newborn photographer? Oh my oh my, how adorable is he? We just couldn’t pass up the chance to once again do a newborn photo session with this lovely bundle of joy. And do you remember Angie and Greg’s nature filled Sacramento maternity photos? Since there is now the cutest little newborn in the mix, they were just perfect for this newborn session in Sacramento. Vincent looks so peaceful sleeping with this soft little beanie over his head. When they say ‘sleeping like a baby’ I didn’t quite understand it until I saw this photo.

Of course these gorgeous parents made this beautiful newborn baby. Vincent is so precious, how perfect it was that he stayed asleep throughout the entire newborn photo session. It was only when the little newborn felt that he was being held in his mother’s arms that he opened his eyes up for his newborn photos. Even if it was only for a second, he just had to check out what was going on around him.

Angie and Greg are such loving parents to this beautiful baby. Vincent is so lucky to have them as they are more than thrilled to have him. They were so perfect as we captured their love and joy in these photos. This is what makes us truly lucky as newborn baby photographers,

Look at his soft tuft of hair that lies so gently on his head, this little boy is going to have the greatest head of hair when he grows up, especially looking at his gorgeous parents.

From this newborn baby photo it looks like he is the quietest and most well-behaved baby in the world, hard to even comprehend when people say it isn’t that easy once you get past the newborn stage.

It’s so amazing to think that not to long ago this perfect little angel was growing in his mothers womb. Life is such an amazing thing, and how else better could you capture its beauty, but to photograph. These memories will last a lifetime and are a perfect way to look back on life.

As a Sacramento newborn photographer, we always highly stress the importance of having your newborn photo session done during the first two weeks of life. Little baby is still so sleepy and will sleep through the entire photo session once they’re happy, warm and fed. It’s the perfect time to capture every little baby features since they will soon change.
