One of my favorites from this weekend's mini sessions: Valerie, Brent and Josie!

This week we are so excited to show you some backyard wedding photos from our California Hippie Chic inspiration shoot. This styled session was put together by the incredibly talented ladies of Enjoy Events Co. The images were so gorgeous that one of our very favorite wedding inspiration blogs, Ruffled, featured the shoot on their site here. We are still swooning over the bohemian backyard wedding images that we couldn’t help but share them on our own Tinywater blog!

This weathered wood picnic table was the perfect pairing for our backyard wedding. With a simple white table runner adorned with a circular yellow pattern, it complimented the array of gorgeous floral arrangements created by Twigss Floral Studio. We can’t describe how much fun we had spending the day with Enjoy Events and Twigss at San Francisco’s Foreign Cinema to put this California Hippie Chic shoot together.

Twigss Floral Studio is a mother and daughter team who provides party and event floral design to the greater bay area. Twigss is based in Danville, California just east of Oakland and you can check out their studio website here. They provided gorgeous designs and arrangements that seemed to be freshly picked from hidden wildflower fields.

Turquoise plates adorned with feathers were the perfect pop against the yellow and white table runner. Antique containers ranging from tarnished silver goblets and pails to wooden boxes held each flower arrangement to create an eclectic bohemian table spread.

A similar yellow and white cloth provided a fun background for photo booth style pictures of the bohemian bride and groom at their Foreign Cinema backyard wedding.

The bride’s dress is a Sarah Seven creation – we couldn’t have chosen a better gown for this backyard wedding occasion.

Alternative plates featured a more neutral color palette with scalloped edge details complete with a mini pairing of wildflowers to greet each guest as they arrived at their table.

The textures on the table all came together to create a perfectly posh backyard wedding spread – the loveliest we’ve ever seen.

Metallic flatware provided the perfect amount of sparkle and shine to this Enjoy Events design.

We hope you’ll meet us back here tomorrow for more of this gorgeous backyard wedding inspiration shoot!

A Bright Backyard Wedding « Lulu's Cake Blooms - [...] to Tinywater Blog for the beautiful set-up. I don’t usually do weddings that aren’t “real”, [...]

Today we have more pretty flowers from the lovely ladies at Valley Flora inside Viansa Winery‘s unique wine cellar. We can’t wait to show you their modern take on floral design.

Starting with a red tablecloth, it was love at first sight with these rectangular charcoal vases they used to create the floral arrangements. It was a fun contrast inside the very vintage and romantic wine cellar at Viansa Winery.

The red yarn wrapped table number is a fun and unique way to incorporate another texture to the table while also being able to mark where the guests will sit. The ombre red candle sat on a square plate which paired nicely with the contemporary vases used in this Valley Flora design.

The lushness of the blooms and shades of reds and pinks brought a welcome pop of color to the darker and more romantic venue here at Viansa Winery in Sonoma’s wine country. We have no complaints about being a Sonoma wedding photographer, especially when we have the opportunities to document such gorgeous work from the loveliest of vendors like Valley Flora.

Crepe paper details created whimsical place settings and chairs and incorporated the accenting hues of orange, pink, and silver so nicely. Those mini paper pom poms are the cutest!

Are these blooms perfect or what?  The full lush texture of these directly against the hard angle of the vase is so beautiful!

And to bring this table full circle, pops of gorgeous muted green succulents. These grayer shades of green went so surprisingly well with the very bright reds and pinks of this Valley Flora table. It also helped tie in nicely to the more muted and darker shades found within the Viansa wine cellar and barrel room.

We can’t express how much we absolutely loved both Valley Flora and Amy Burke’s table designs we featured this week on our Vendor Spotlights. If you are looking to hire a florist for your wedding or special event, we hope you check these girls out in addition to taking a trip to the lovely Viansa Winery in the always gorgeous Sonoma, California.

fotoclipping - Best wishes for this couple.

Our next Vendor Spotlight is featuring Valley Flora‘s tables at Viansa Winery. Valley Flora is a full service floral design studio specializing in weddings and special events. The team consists of two friends, Polly and Carla, and Polly’s daughter Brooke, who is a new addition to the company. From Valley Flora’s website: “We take great pride in turning your floral vision into memories. We strive to use the freshest in seasonal materials. Our commitment to quality and the client is evident in every design. Our joy is in every bride’s smile.”

Valley Flora’s gorgeous table design was set in the unique and amazing Viansa Winery barrel room. We love taking wedding photos inside the Viansa Winery barrel room for it’s unique architecture and space. Valley Flora started with a base of a pretty champagne pink tablecloth with a Chantilly lace-like layer on top.

The gold toned chairs used here were a subtle touch to elevate this table designed by Valley Flora. The tea lights surrounding the low floral centerpiece provided a romantic glow to this gorgeous lace spread.

Zooming in on Valley Flora’s details, we love the texture that this collection of blooms provided against the lace, but we were especially taken with the little gold rimmed goblet filled with a tiny collection of flower buds! It was a cute surprise and we wanted to sit at that table to take in all of the lush prettiness forever.

The black centers of those blooms were a great contrast to the overall lighter tones of this Valley Flora table. The main centerpiece sat majestically atop a gold framed mirror creating a fun reflection and detail.

The way this floral arrangement cascaded down onto the table below was romantic in itself. The girls of Valley Flora really know how to evoke pure romance with flowers and props, and we can’t imagine how a bride could be any happier with this talented trio. So in love with their work right now!

Don’t you love those peach roses tucked into the greenery? We can’t wait to move onto Valley Flora’s next table within the Viansa Winery barrel room, coming up tomorrow!

So excited to reveal this Modern Green Wedding Inspiration shoot as a feature on Green Wedding Shoes today! Shot on location at The Green Living Center in our home of Midtown Sacramento, we had a ton of fun putting this together with some of our very favorite wedding vendors. Take a peek at the feature over on Green Wedding Shoes!

A few more today from the super incredible Amy Burke Designs from our weekend with her at Viansa Winery. If you haven’t made your way to this amazing venue, you must make time to visit this incredible winery. From Viansa Winery’s website: “If you have a special love for all that is Italian, Viansa is for you. Located at the entrance to Sonoma Valley, we are 40 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge and sit high upon a hilltop, providing breathtaking views of Sonoma Valley, vineyards and wetlands.”

Have we ever told you twinkle lights are our fave? We love the romantic flow and starry feel they give to wedding pictures, and paired with these chandeliers in the Viansa Winery tent pavilion, we were absolutely in heaven! The lighting within the pavilion was all provided by Viansa Winery themselves. Just imagine getting married out in the fresh wine country air and then following your guests into this lush and dreamy tent to celebrate your true love… Swoon!

We promised more from Amy Burke Designs from Viansa Winery’s event, and here it is. We love how the lighting affects this white and silver table with just a subtle hint of that pink hue. The plush white chairs paired with the lacy sparkle of that silver tablecloth just screams high end class. We loved those sparkly pillows on the chairs so much we wish we could have taken them home to throw on our couch for lounging with our friends!

How incredible is this crystal centerpiece? Mixed with white orchids, it is a great way to make each guests’s table as special as possible without splurging for real chandeliers. The textures of crystals were a great complement to the sequined lace tablecloth below.

Even the tea candle holders had hints of silver and lace, not only glowing but twinkling for each guest.

Classic table settings were used for this Amy Burke table at Viansa Winery, and we love the simplicity of it against the highly detailed lace tablecloth.

This table really showcases Amy’s fine art background. She focused on sculpture and the construction and composition of the design here is unique and perfectly put together.

Just imagine Amy’s table multiplied and all sitting under this gorgeous tent! Now that’s what we would call a match made in pink Viansa Winery heaven.

Amy Burke - Thank you SOOO much for two AMAZING posts Caroline!!! You are such an amazing photographer and an artist yourself! I really hope that we get to work together tons this year!! :)
