It’s been one year since we had the pleasure of capturing Shirley and Elijah exchange their vows and we want to wish them a big Tinywater happy anniversary! When Shirley gave Tinywater a description of the ideas she had for her Disney themed wedding, we were excited. When we walked into Shirley and Elijah’s Disney themed wedding at Terra Gallery and Event space in San Francisco, we were ecstatic! The space was transformed into Shirlijahland, and it was quite a spectacular place to be that night!

All sorts of colorful candy and jellybeans filled bell jars and glass vases to create fun and interesting textures for unique centerpieces. Pennant flags marked each table like a ride or attraction to see at this Disney themed wedding.

Everything was completely customized for Shirlijahland at this Disney themed wedding! From the popcorn boxes for guests to take sweets home in, to the goodie bags shaped like a wedding dress and tuxedo, Shirley and Elijah’s little logo was everywhere!

Each guest received a “fastpass” to help seat them at their assigned tables. The couple’s designer Mickey doll collection stacked up to create the bottom three tiers of Shirley and Elijah’s Disney themed wedding cake! Each one donned a fun pattern or was decorated as a recognizable cartoon character.

Elijah’s suit had light up piping when he entered the reception. Both of these guys were absolutely hilarious! We loved their quirky personalities, complete with lime green shades and the cutest bridal accessory we’ve seen yet: mouse ears!

I am getting cravings for sweets just looking at their dessert table again. Guests could pick up candy apples, churros, red velvet cupcakes, and donut holes from ‘The Sweet Shop’ at the couple’s Disney themed wedding reception! The dessert table has been a popular trend, giving guests options when it’s time for sweets!

I love the mini bride and groom cake topper on top of their Disney themed wedding cake! No trip to Disney is complete without seeing the fireworks light up the castle at night. We get giddy when we hear a bride is thinking about a Disney themed wedding, sending us back to memories of riding rides and meeting characters at Disneyland. Now we’re hoping brides will start to come in inspired by Shirlijahland! We had the time of our lives photographing Shirley and Elijah’s wedding, and we hope you enjoyed the details as much as we enjoyed capturing their beautiful memories!

Now a peek into some of the unique details inside Shirley and Elijah’s theme park wedding at Terra San Francisco! Terra is a gallery and event space located at 511 Harrison Street in San Francisco, California. Shirlijahland was such a bright and colorful affair, bringing us back to when we were just a kid visiting Disneyland for the first time. The couple’s playful and quirky personalities really shone throughout every aspect of their day, and we had a blast hanging out with them at Terra San Francisco!

The flowers from Shirley and Elijah’s Terra San Francisco wedding was inspired by pin wheels, magic wands, and lollipops! We are obsessed with those miniature paper pinwheels tucked into Shirley’s bouquet! The red and white polka dots and yellow patterns really added a unique touch to traditional floral designs.

How fun are these school group portraits? I can just imagine this group goofing off in class together. We we able to capture some really fun candid pictures of these guys together. I’m really loving the pops of color from the bridesmaid dresses in these wedding party photos!

The couple’s wedding cake at their Terra San Francisco wedding reception was so precious and one-of-a-kind! I love the clear tiers they used to show off some Disney toys from their collection. The primary colors on the white cake really allowed their design and theme to stand out.

The lights inside Terra San Francisco gallery and event space are amazing, magical even! It really transformed the white walls into a Shirlijahland carnival!

These little popcorn boxes held gifts for the bridesmaids and groomsmen, along with their personalized nickname badges for the day. They also served some of the goodies from their dessert bar in these! Perfect for their upscale twist on carnival food!

This couple really knows how to enter a room: with bright green shades, light up suit, and mouse ears! We were going crazy over their personalized Shirlijahland dance floor lights!

Aren’t these designer “Mickey” toys the cutest? Each one had it’s own pattern or design theme.  We loved being able to play around with them to get some unique shots of the couple’s wedding rings during their Terra San Francico wedding reception.

Shirley and Elijah are one of the funniest and happiest couples Tinywater has had the pleasure of working with as their San Francisco wedding photographer! The couple went all out with a Disney-like theme park wedding, appropriately named “Shirlijahland”. Of course it wouldn’t be complete with mouse ears, colorful candy, and fast passes for each of their guests to come along for the wild ride!

Shirley’s white sequined mouse ears are so adorable, and go perfectly with her gorgeous Jimmy Choo pumps! This was just the start of all of the fun props and outfits of the night!

Even down to the lego cufflinks, Elijah could not wait to start the fun-filled day. As their San Francisco wedding photographer, we were just as excited as we saw all of the colorful details start to unfold!

Each bridesmaid and groomsman got a personalized pin for the day, along with cake pops, which provided a bright ‘pop’ of color! The color theme of the day included purple, blue, yellow, red, and green!

We love Shirley’s classic beauty paired with her and Elijah’s super jovial personalities! When shooting a wedding with a couple as fun as these guys, being a San Francisco wedding photographer is a treat!

The wedding ceremony was very traditional and took place at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Parish on Willow Avenue in South San Francisco. I love the contemplative feel these praying hand photographs portray.

You may kiss your bride!

After the ceremony it was time to throw on some shades and head for the fun! We made a pit stop at a nearby school to grab some funny school day themed photographs of the entire wedding party. These guys are a hoot!

Some of our favorite details were the pinwheels and lollipops made of candy and flowers! As Shirley and Elijah’s San Francisco wedding photographer, we absolutely loved using these classrooms as a fun backdrop for these photos!

The boutonniere’s were fabulous and also made from candy and fresh flowers. We’re still tingling from the happiness that Shirley and Elijah’s day exuded, and as their San Francisco wedding photographer, we can’t wait to share more!
