super fun lunch!! So excited for everything!

Justine and Steven had the cutest San Francisco City Hall destination wedding followed by a sweet portrait session about town. Truly one of the sweetest San Francisco City Hall weddings we have ever photographed. I get wistful just looking at these images and wish they would come back! Justine and Steven were the sweetest couple, they sounded so cute even when we first chatted on the phone. We are so lucky that they picked us to be their destination wedding photographer! Justine, a grade school teacher, had the cutest do-it-yourself button wedding bouquet. And she is amazingly crafty that she made boutonnieres for their family as well. Their family, who by the way, were so darn awesome that they all flew in from Texas as well.

It had been rainy and overcast the days before, and there was a political rally the day after, but on that day, everything was magical and beautiful. We started the day at the ornate Mark Hopkins Hotel on Nob Hill. And lucky us, the light was just right at the ceremony in San Francisco City Hall. A beam of light fell perfectly on the stairs illuminating Steven and Justine. We walked around City Hall and then went on a little mini tour of San Francisco, hitting Chinatown and North Beach (where we stopped to have a lovely lunch). We just had to go to the Presidio too where the grass was so lusciously green from all the rain and Justine looked amazing with her pink wrap. And then of course, since Justine and Steven were from out of town, we headed to the Golden Gate Bridge, both on the San Francisco and the Marin side! We visited Fort Point and Battery Spencer, it was so windy and chilly for our Austin bride and groom.

Finally, we played around at the Marin headlands because Justine and Steven were into rolling hills and nature. Justine’s students had drawn a special drawing of San Francisco so of course photographs of that was a must! And finally photographs of Steven and Justine with their dog’s toy and photograph since their little Schnauzer cannot be there with them.

It is definitely an honor to be such a big part of their day, and that we could spend the whole day with them, getting to know them, getting to know the little smiles Justine gives Steven, and the way Steven looks at Justine affectionately when no one is around. It’s an honor to know two people so in love with each other so genuinely. Justine and Steven, we love you! Thank you for choosing Tinywater for your wedding photography and for letting us be a part of your lives. Thank you so much for being part of the Tinywater family. Thank you for touching our lives.
